The prompt for this design project was to take an existing movie poster and reimagine it. Stock images were not allowed to be used and everything in the composition had to be original, down to textures. I was inspired to use the movie poster from one of my favorite movies, “Under the Tuscan Sun.” The problem was, while I was dreaming of Tuscany, it was the dead of winter in Wisconsin. That is how “Under the Wisconsin Sun” came to be. Made completely in Adobe Photoshop, I sourced my own photos in and around Neenah, WI to create this composition.
